General Purpose: The Tool Coordinator is a critical member of the on-site team supporting the construction phase of building and connecting the wind power plant to the grid. They are responsible for assisting with site setup, transport, installation, mechanical completion, commissioning, and site close-out of a project. The TC follows defined processes and procedures for safety, inventory management and documentation, with a strong focus on construction contractual tooling and additional tooling requests.   Responsibilities: - Maintain safety policies and environmental containment. Ensure a clean and safe work environment. Identify and mitigate hazards. Participate in daily safety meeting. Complete monthly safety training assignments on schedule - Manage end-to-end construction inventory and tooling movement transactions including receiving site containers, conducting cycle counts, handling reconciliation of discrepancies, creation of Delivery Notes on all tool returns, and coordinating container returns. Maintain physical and electronic inventory control; ship and receive large individual tools; identify and record serial numbers; create and monitor purchase orders/purchase requests for tooling related items. - Take direction from and communicate daily with Construction Manager (CM) and Lead Technicians to ensure availability of tools on site. Assist CM to fulfill customer requests and resolve customer issues in timely and cost-effective manner. Establish appropriate on-site communications with customer personnel. Collaborate with technicians in execution of inventory control. Responsible for site compliance to approved processes; provide SAP fundamental instruction and assist with system problem solving and error processing. - Help maintain timely and accurate return of all Turbine component shipping fixtures to the correct warehouse or factory following all export procedures as necessary. Help with the return of Empty Coli Parts Containers from site to the correct storage facility and performing the correct Inspections and documentation of these returns in all systems. - Complete transactions in a timely and accurate manner including Goods Receiving (GR), performing inspections of tooling live in Procore and entering work hours daily. - Perform administrative tasks related to site setup, including Tracking tools, communicating shortage list and tracking information, Assist CM to monitor expenditures of procured tools, Live disposition and cost avoidance of tooling, directly working with CM and Project Manager (PM) on loss and damaged tools - Utilize defined Work Instructions (WI) where available to complete job functions and solve problems, seeking consultation from stakeholders to resolve problems outside position requirements and responsibilities. - Support other sites to solve issues impacting the greater organization. Take direction from and communicate on regular basis with Field Support Lead and Manager and support the Project Site. Respond to queries in timely manner. Responsibilities and Duties - Be a key member of the Sky Climber Renewables field workforce - Travel 100% on a rotational basis to wind projects throughout the U.S. - Perform LOTO procedures for multi-brand wind turbines in support of blade or mechanical/electrical service operations - Conduct inspections, maintenance and repair of equipment - Climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet - Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds) - Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform multi-brand wind turbine generator and associated equipment assembly, repair, replacement and maintenance - Complete and maintain required company and client documentation - Effectively prioritize and escalate technical issues to clients and supporting functions - Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas as required - Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Sky Climber Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements (eg, Valid License, acceptable driving record) - Be exposed to high and low ambient temperatures while working outdoors - Maintain required training certifications for position held, including, not limited to: OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED, First Aid, Basic Safety, Basic Technical, Advanced Rescue - Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisors - *Note: For safety compliance, wind technicians must weigh between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing, boots and standard personal equipment      Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent - Minimum twelve (12) months of industry experience - Understanding of basic AC/DC circuits - Ability to verify basic electrical connections and schematics - GWO (BST, BTT, ART) Certifications preferred - Work that meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules and Quality, Safety and Environment standards - Willingness to follow OSHA, client and company policies at all times - A professional appearance and positive attitude - Behavior demonstrating integrity and respect for fellow employees, clients and communities - Willingness and ability to work cooperatively or independently - Proactive communication (up and down) - Ability to produce reports, work order documents, and records, written neatly, legibly and completed correctly - Ability to work in a high-volume, multi-priority environments - Knowledge and basic skills operating various hand and power tools - Willingness and ability to work indoors or outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including blowing pollen, dust, and grasses - Ability to pass background check(s) and drug screening - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Discover more about us at www.skyclimber-re.com.   DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:   As a Wind Composite Blade Repair Technician III, you will:   - Conduct detailed evaluations, inspections, and diagnoses of internal and external composite damages on wind turbines, documenting and photographing as necessary. - Perform advanced structural and coating repairs on various composite structures (CAT 1-5), including turbine blades, nacelles and spinners. - Execute professional caliber sanding, cutting, grinding, cleaning and lay-up of fiberglass, carbon fiber, coatings, and resin materials. - Collaborate with site leadership to meet daily contractual obligations and customer needs, particularly in composite repairs. - Execute Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe work environments. - Interpret engineering drawings and adhere to lamination schedules. - Propose process improvements to enhance safety and productivity. - Work closely with the engineering support team to ensure quality and completion of all repairs. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and records, using advanced computer-based reporting tools. - Behavior demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect for policies, fellow employees, customers, and communities. - Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.   EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:   - Minimum 3 yrs of experience in wind composite materials repair. - Demonstrated technical and team leadership capabilities. - Strong communication skills with attention to detail. - Experience in supervised composite blade damage assessment and various repair techniques. - Knowledgeable in adhesive bonding for both internal and external components. - Ability to perform complex tasks such as WTG assembly, repair, and maintenance following specific instructions. - Proficient in understanding composite repair chemicals, electrical schematic drawings, and technical manuals. - Willingness to work in confined spaces and alternate schedules, including overtime and holidays. - Must maintain essential training certifications such as OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED - First Aid. - Technical Certification in composite repair is a plus. - GWO Certifications are a plus. - Ability to climb wind turbines (approx. 300 feet). - Weight compliance between 120 and 280 pounds for safety standards. - Capability to lift and move heavy equipment (over 50 pounds). - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis   WHAT WE OFFER:   Join a forward-thinking company dedicated to innovating and leading in the renewable energy sector.
