Job Overview

The Fleet Coordinator is primarily responsible for organizing and managing the maintenance and repairs of Sky Climber vehicle and trailer fleet. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Lead the organization’s Fleet to ensure vehicles are safe and in compliance with all regulations.

  • Purchasing and maintaining of vehicles and trailers
  • Assist in deciding whether to lease, buy and cycle vehicles.
  • Assist in the improving the quality of drivers in the company.
  • Registering, licensing and maintaining insurance cards for all vehicles and trailers under their management.
  • Finding ways to reduce costs and maximize profits with the fleet of vehicles.
  • Developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
  • Complying with U.S. Department of Transport laws and regulations.
  • Primary interface for dealing with vehicle damage insurance claims & coordination of vehicle repairs.
  • Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Proactively scheduling vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Approving maintenances for all Fleet vehicles.
  • Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
  • Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for ensuring vehicles are equipped with Sky Climber specific branding and safety equipment and are readily available for project deployment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Background in logistics or fleet management
  • Be very detailed, task orientated, and a self-starter.
  • Very efficient in computer skills and Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Be able to set and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Be able to communicate with employees and customers in a professional manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good driving record required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, physical and MVR.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to read and understand English.
  • Must make safety a priority.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
