Overview

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for the organization, inspection, shipping and receiving of all equipment utilized in the US and Canada markets. The role will also support the Fleet and Training Departments with Safety, Rescue, Access and Drivers training as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Be very detailed and task orientated
  • Be able to set and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner
  • Maintain proper Instructor training as required
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good driving record required
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, physical and MVR
  • Previous warehouse experience and construction experience a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to read and understand English
  • Must make safety a priority
  • Mechanical background a plus
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds
  • Must be able to work 8 hours or more on your feet
  • Be computer literate
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • 10-20% travel (as required)

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, pulling and shipping of equipment orders for wind operations in the United States and Canada
  • Receive and fulfill equipment, uniform and PPE requests for wind operations
    Execute cycle counts, perform variance reports, and resolve inventory discrepancies
    Maintain proper min/max levels of equipment, product inventory and uniforms
  • Oversee maintenance records and perform proper inspections on equipment for incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Assist with creating shipping arrangements for all parcel, LTL and FTL shipments
  • Storage, packing and shipping of hazardous materials
  • S/he must be capable of verifying computations against physical count of stock
  • Following company procedures to ensure all records are accurate and updated in a timely manner and conforms to company practices
  • Following company safety policies and procedures and encouraging others to do the same
  • Mechanical work: including inspections, maintenance, and basic repairs of generators, trailers and power washing equipment
  • Assist with company fleet maintenance and Drivers training as needed
  • Assist training department with various training activities and/or support
  • Good housekeeping-keep work area clean orderly
  • Cleaning warehouse and office areas
  • Capable of driving pickup trucks with 18’ trailers
  • Performing other duties as assigned
