Title: Warehouse Associate

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

 

 

Position Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate executes handson warehouse operations that enable accurate inventory, compliant handling, and ontime support to field projects and training activities across the U.S. and Canada. This role receives, stores, inspects, picks, packs, and ships equipment, uniforms, PPE, and materials; maintains precise records in company systems; and upholds safety, quality, and housekeeping standards every shift. The Associate also performs basic equipment upkeep, assists with fleetrelated tasks, and supports training activities as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

Inbound Receiving & Put Away

  • Receive inbound deliveries; verify counts/condition against packing lists and purchase/contract documents; document discrepancies and route for resolution.
  • Complete proper inspections on incoming equipment and PPE prior to storage; stage and put away to designated locations with correct labeling.

Inventory Control & Recordkeeping

  • Assist in executing cycle counts and spot counts; investigate and reconcile variances to maintain min/max levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Post timely, accurate transactions in the approved systems and forms (e.g., contract/delivery/return documentation per Inventory & Warehouse Procedures).

Order Fulfillment (Pulling, Kitting, Staging)

  • Pull, kit, and stage orders for wind operations (U.S. & Canada), including uniforms and PPE; confirm completeness and accuracy before packing.
  • Prepare equipment for outbound deployment, including required documentation and labeling per internal procedures.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Pack and ship orders via parcel, LTL, and FTL carriers; create shipping arrangements and documentation; coordinate pickups and track as needed.
  • Handle storage, packing, and shipping of hazardous materials in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

Equipment Readiness & Basic Maintenance

  • Perform routine inspections and light maintenance/repairs on warehouse assets and project equipment (e.g., generators, trailers, Trucks, power washing equipment); keep maintenance and inspection logs current, ensuring Assets are ready to use.

Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures; stop and escalate unsafe conditions; model safe behaviors for others.
  • Maintain clean, organized aisles, racks, docks, and work areas; perform routine cleaning of warehouse and office spaces to 5S/housekeeping standards. 

 

Cross-Functional Support

  • Assist with company fleet activities and Drivers training as directed (e.g., staging, inspection support, documentation).

Driving & Material Handling

  • Ability to operate vehicles and tow pickup trucks with 18’ trailers when required; load/unload in accordance with safety and load securement practices.

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager to meet operational, safety, and customer

 

Qualifications:

    • Be very detailed and task orientated
    • Be able to set and complete tasks with minimal supervision
    • Maintain a clean work area
    • Be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner
    • Maintain proper Instructor training as required
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Good driving record required
    • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, physical and MVR
    • Previous warehouse experience and construction experience a plus
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to read and understand English
    • Must make safety a priority
    • Mechanical background a plus
    • Positive attitude and self-motivation
    • Must be able to lift 75 pounds
    • Must be able to work 8 hours or more on your feet
    • Be computer literate
    • Ability to work independently and
    • 10% travel (as required)
