SITE-BASED OKLAHOMA ROLE | ADVANCED SIEMENS TROUBLESHOOTING
About the Role
Sky Climber Renewables (SCR) is seeking experienced Senior Siemens Troubleshooting Technicians to provide advanced operational and maintenance support at utility-scale wind farms in Oklahoma.
This role is designed for highly skilled Siemens technicians who possess deep troubleshooting expertise and the ability to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex turbine faults with limited supervision. Successful candidates will serve as technical leaders on site, supporting routine maintenance operations and advanced corrective maintenance activities.
These are long-term, site-based positions supporting Siemens 2.3 platform turbines and associated converter systems.

What You'll Do
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Siemens wind turbine systems
- Analyze turbine faults and identify root causes of recurring operational issues
- Support site reliability initiatives and turbine performance improvement efforts
- Lead troubleshooting activities involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems
- Diagnose converter, pitch, communication, and control system faults
- Support major corrective maintenance activities when required
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Service Technicians and newer team members
- Use turbine software, schematics, and technical documentation to identify and resolve issues
- Execute work in accordance with OEM procedures, customer requirements, and SCR safety standards
- Complete work orders, service records, and maintenance documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain clean, organized tools, equipment, and work areas
- Operate company and customer vehicles safely and responsibly
- Participate in rotating on-call support as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of Siemens wind turbine troubleshooting and repair experience
- Knowledge and capability equivalent to a Siemens Level 7 Technician
- Demonstrated expertise diagnosing electrical and control system faults
- Ability to independently troubleshoot turbine outages and complex operational issues
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Proficiency using laptops, diagnostic software, and turbine control interfaces
- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Converteam Converter Training
- Experience supporting Siemens 2.3-101 platforms
- Experience supporting Siemens 3.0 DD platforms
- ABB Converter Training
- Experience supporting Siemens 2.3-93 platforms

Schedule
This position utilizes a rotating four-day workweek intended to support work-life balance while maintaining continuous site coverage. Teams rotate schedules to provide operational support Monday through Friday and participate in an organized on-call rotation for weekend coverage.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to climb wind turbines vertically 300 feet or more
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and work in physically demanding environments
- Weight requirement of 120-280 pounds, including clothing, boots, and standard personal protective equipment
- Ability to meet all customer and site-specific fitness-for-duty requirements
