Discover more about us at www.skyclimber-re.com.   DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:   As a Wind Composite Blade Repair Technician III, you will:   - Conduct detailed evaluations, inspections, and diagnoses of internal and external composite damages on wind turbines, documenting and photographing as necessary. - Perform advanced structural and coating repairs on various composite structures (CAT 1-5), including turbine blades, nacelles and spinners. - Execute professional caliber sanding, cutting, grinding, cleaning and lay-up of fiberglass, carbon fiber, coatings, and resin materials. - Collaborate with site leadership to meet daily contractual obligations and customer needs, particularly in composite repairs. - Execute Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe work environments. - Interpret engineering drawings and adhere to lamination schedules. - Propose process improvements to enhance safety and productivity. - Work closely with the engineering support team to ensure quality and completion of all repairs. - Maintain comprehensive documentation and records, using advanced computer-based reporting tools. - Behavior demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect for policies, fellow employees, customers, and communities. - Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.   EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:   - Minimum 3 yrs of experience in wind composite materials repair. - Demonstrated technical and team leadership capabilities. - Strong communication skills with attention to detail. - Experience in supervised composite blade damage assessment and various repair techniques. - Knowledgeable in adhesive bonding for both internal and external components. - Ability to perform complex tasks such as WTG assembly, repair, and maintenance following specific instructions. - Proficient in understanding composite repair chemicals, electrical schematic drawings, and technical manuals. - Willingness to work in confined spaces and alternate schedules, including overtime and holidays. - Must maintain essential training certifications such as OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR/AED - First Aid. - Technical Certification in composite repair is a plus. - GWO Certifications are a plus. - Ability to climb wind turbines (approx. 300 feet). - Weight compliance between 120 and 280 pounds for safety standards. - Capability to lift and move heavy equipment (over 50 pounds). - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis   WHAT WE OFFER:   Join a forward-thinking company dedicated to innovating and leading in the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities and Duties - Performs intermediate and advanced level wind turbine maintenance and/or installation tasks as assigned. Job Title Composite Resource Manager Reports To Director of Operations, Maintenance Services Job Overview As Composite Resource Manager, you will lead composite teams and processes delivering high quality, safety-driven services sought to help clients realize optimal power performance on clean energy projects. As part of our field operations team, you’ll be exposed to a broad range of management and leadership activities and take on shared leadership responsibilities for composite field service safety, quality, and performance.   You will also collaborate closely with various corporate representatives, as well as internal/external stakeholders of the company. The Sky Climber team is diverse and distributed across the U.S. & Canada and collaborates daily over our field communications app(s), Microsoft Teams, and virtual communication tools.   What you will be doing - Managing up to 80 field technician employees, and coordinate related composite service delivery - Receiving project input information from Sales and develop project plans and schedules - Identifying and allocating resources according to client needs (e.g., employees and equipment) - Recommending appropriate resources to implement cost-effective program, policies, procedures, and processes - Creating budgets and implementation plans, tracking financial and operational performance - Managing project kick-off events, both remotely and in person, depending on project demand - Conducting periodic site audits to assure safety, quality, and personnel policy compliance - Managing customer purchase order progression to assure projects are completed on time and within budget. - Designing appropriate reporting for both internal and external review of project results - Managing accurate and timely completion of all project reporting and documentation - Procuring materials and special tooling as required for service delivery - Acting as customer liaison for project progress and develop future business opportunities - Providing technical assistance to field workforce employees - Approving time-entry reports and billing for projects - Assisting in developing and defining service/product strategy and roadmap - Supporting sales efforts as industry technical expert - Serving as a field operations leader and mentor to developing employees - Contributing to growth and implementation of training & development programs - Leading and managing field operations compliance with local, state, federal, client, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines - Engaging with executive leadership on a daily or weekly basis      What knowledge, skills & training you will bring - High school diploma – associate or bachelor’s degree preferred - Minimum of five (5) years managing complex, high-volume customer-facing programs - Minimum of five (5) years industry related technical experience. The Tech One Program (TOP) is a structured career development program for entry level wind technicians, built in partnership between industry leaders, Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas. Job Summary: The TOP Wind Service Technicians will receive exclusive wind safety and technical training accredited through the Global Wind Organization (GWO). Primarily work at a wind site location near home. Work on a service team to achieve safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance. Reports directly to the Program Manager and Site Manager, and indirectly to the Lead Technician when on a job. Responsible for performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery or components used mainly in power generation applications, turbines, and generators as directed. Is not certified to perform work inside any Cabinet/Controller without direct supervision by a certified Electrical Technician.
